Yes, merchants must have a business registration in HK, with valid documents to apply for the Yedpay payment service.
Required document:
1) BR business registration certificate
2) Certificate of Incorporation (for a limited company)
3) A bank statement (issued with in the last 3 months)
4) 2 photos of the venues - 1 from inside with the products, 1 from outside with the signboard
5) HKID/Passport copies of the Sole Proprietor/Partner/Beneficial Owner/Director
6) Signed agreement
Generally T+2 settlement . Merchants could choose either manual settlement or auto settlement depending on the needs or business hour; for auto settlement, the system shall process settlement at midnight 00:00. and merchant would receive the amount on its bank on the day after.
Refund can be processed on the mobile pos, or through access the website or our app " yedpay business" on app store of IOS and Android. Generally refund period is 180 days.
